Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw a curved “n” shape, slightly angled, in the center of your page. Flick the bottom of this out slightly on both sides.
2.

Add a wavy “hook” to either side of this main shape.
3.

Add a second wavy shape to the bottom of the first…
4.

And follow this with another “hook” shape below on both sides.
5.

Add another wavy line inside each of those you just drew.
6.

Connect these bottom shapes together with curves, and create a point at the ends for two tentacles. Add small oval shapes to the bottom for the suckers.
7.

Add points to the lines above these, and add more suckers to the bottom…
8.

And then repeat this with the curved lines above.
9.

Follow this by doing the same on the curved lines at the top…
10.

And then add two small rings to the face for eyes, above a curved, cheerful mouth.
11.

Add marks to the top of the eyes to create small lashes…
12.

And use a yellow pen for the suckers at the bottom.
13.

Use a pink pen to add spots of color to the cheeks, small marks above the eyes, and to the right of the face.
14.

Use a lighter pink pen for the rest of the body, leaving small white dots on the left of the head.
15.

Finally, grab a pink pencil and add a large oval to the bottom of the body, shading this in with the pink.
And voila – a friendly, adorable octopus, just waiting for his new name; but what will you decide on?
