Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with an orange pen, and draw a large circle in the center of your page.
2.

Grab a ruler, and use this and the orange pen to draw a line down from the bottom of the circle.
3.

Now, use a black fineliner to add an arrow to the bottom of the orange line, with the point heading up. Use the ruler and black pen to bring two parallel lines down from the bottom of the arrow, and take these out to a “bump” at the bottom.
4.

Now, add a series of diagonal lines heading all down the length of the handle.
5.

Grab the ruler and black pen, and draw a series of vertical lines all down the length of the circle, all the way across. Then, add a series of horizontal lines across this.
6.

Use a black pen to shade the handle at the bottom…
7.

And then use the black fineliner and ruler to add three short, horizontal lines to the left of the racket. Add short, horizontal marks to the top and bottom of each line.
8.

Use the ruler and black pen to draw a straight, horizontal line at the bottom of the handle, the bottom of the circle, and the center of the top circle.
9.

Now, label the parts: “Head” at the top, “Shaft” on the next section, and “Handle” at the bottom. On the right, label the top line “Stringed area”, the second “Throat” and the bottom “Butt cap”.
And there we have it – your very own badminton racket, complete with labeling to help you learn the parts. Now, all you need is a few lessons, and you will be on your way!
