1.
Use an orange pen and a ruler to add two parallel horizontal lines at the top of your page.

Repeat this with two lines at the bottom, and then two at the sides.

Fill in the frame around the rectangle with the orange pen…

And then use a red pen and a ruler to add a line to the bottom of the rectangle.
5.
Use an orange pen to turn this into a smaller rectangle…
6.
Use a gray pencil and a ruler to add a circle to this smaller rectangle, and then add a curve to the top of this.
7.
Make the top and the two sides of the rectangle a little thicker with the orange pen.
8.
Fill in the circle with a deep orange pen…

And then erase any pencil marks.
10.
Add a line across the bottom of the circle with the orange pen…
11.
Add a curve above the bottom of the circle with a black pen.
12.
Add another curved line vertically…
13.
And then add wavy lines on either side of this.
14.
Bring two curved lines down from the bottom.
15.
Add an “M” shape in between the lines, and add curved lines in between the stem of this.
16.
Now, add criss-cross lines between the curved lines for the net of the hoop.
