1.

Use a brown pen and a ruler to add a pointed shape, like the top of a triangle, to the top of your page.
2.

Add another set of lines inside the top ones…
3.

And fill this in with the brown pen.
4.

Use a darker brown pen to add another layer of triangles behind the top ones.
5.

Fill this second layer in with the dark brown pen.
6.

Use an orange pen and ruler to bring lines inwards from the bottom. Add a slight gap in the left line.
7.

Use a brown pen to add a long, thin rectangle to the bottom of these, and then add a tall rectangle to the bottom of this for the stand.
8.

Grab a gray pencil and a drawing compass, and add a small circle to the center of the top section. Add another half circle to the left of this.
9.

Use a yellow pen to add a small bird shape to the bottom left of this circle.
10.

Use a brown pen for the center of the circle…
11.

And use the same shade to add details to the body of your bird.
12.

Use a black pen to add a small beak, a dot for an eye, and the details of the wings and feathers.
13.

Use the brown pen to add a small, bent leg to the bottom of the bird, sitting him neatly on the stand of the birdhouse.
14.

Shade the main body of the birdhouse with an orange pen…
15.

And then grab a thick, bright yellow pen to add a wavy line to the bottom of the page.
16.

Shade the space below this with the yellow pen…
17.

And the space above with the blue pen.
And there we have it – your very own cute birdhouse, complete with bird friend – all that remains is to bring this to life in your very own garden!
