Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a black pen, and drawing three bumps in the right half of your page. Bring a line down the right-hand side of this, curving towards the bottom.
2.

Add a short curve to the end of this, and then bring a jagged line down on the left.
3.

Join the two halves together at the bottom with a point…
4.

And then add a wavy line above the bottom, with a short flick on the left to create a mouth.
5.

Now, add a large oval shape to the center of the face, encompassing the mouth you just created. Add a small circle above this, and add two small dots inside the circle to create a nose. Add a series of marks below the mouth.
6.

Add two horseshoe shapes above this, and connect both sides at the bottom with a curved line to create the outline of the eyes.
7.

Now, add a series of small marks all over the face to give your bear some fur…
8.

And add small circles inside the eyes, filling these in with the black pen.
9.

Bring a line across to the left, and then curve this back down towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page. Add three small bumps, and then add an “L” shape to the bottom of this line, curving this up and across to the right. Add another toe above the first, and then bring a jagged line up to create a back leg.
10.

Bring a jagged line across to the right, and then add another line just below this. At the end of this second line, add another “L” shape.
11.

Add another leg to the front, connected to the top horizontal line…
12.

And then bring another leg out to the back.
13.

Grab the black pen, and fill in the back leg, the bottom of the belly, and the front of the chest with the shade.
14.

Next, take a gray pen, and add a long, wavy shape all across the top of the back, and curving down the body. Then, add three marks below this.
15.

Continue to use the gray pen to add a series of marks and jagged sections all across the body of the bear.
16.

Use a gray pencil to gently shade the main section of the body…
17.

And then add color to the middle of the face using a pale orange pencil.
18.

Go over the body again with a black pencil…
19.

Before using a cyan pen to give your bear bright blue eyes.
And just like that, your bear has been brought to life – just remember to keep a respectful distance!
