Flowers are a great way to brighten up any house, garden, or space, and a cheerful blue is an ideal color! Let’s learn how to draw a blue flower step by step.

1.
Start by taking a gray pencil, and drawing two parallel lines curving diagonally across the page, meeting in a point at the top and bottom. Add several lines emerging along the length of this.

Now, add a small circle to the top, and then add five small petals around the edge. Add small marks inside each of the petals, emerging from the center circles.

Add a small circle to the right of the main shape, and add a series of small “spokes” emerging from this…

Before adding pointed petals to each of these.

Repeat the small circle beneath this second one…

And once again, add petals all around the edge.

Now, add another flower to the left, and connect this to the main stem with two thin, parallel lines.

Add another flower and stem below this one…

And another example to the right, below the two you have already created.

Repeat this with another example on the left…

And then use a light green pen to fill in all the centers.

Use the gray pencil to add lines emerging from the center of the petals.

Now, use a blue pen to outline the petals in the top flower.

Add a series of small “points” inside each of the petals…

And leave these blank as you fill in the rest of the shape. Then, fill these shapes in with the green pencil.

Then, repeat this process with the flower just below…

And the one you created on the left.

Add blue and green to the second flower on the right…

And repeat the color on the flower at the bottom.

Add the same design to the next flower on the left…

And complete the flowers by filling in the bottom one with the blue.

Grab a black pen, and use this to fill in the stem and branches of the flower.
