Music is a crucial part of life – and it is important that we celebrate the instruments that make the tunes. With that in mind, we will create our very own acoustic guitar – let’s get started!

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Grab a brown pen, and draw a small circle in the center of your page.
2.
Grab a ruler, and draw two diagonal lines across the circle.
3.
Join these at the right end, and add two short lines to the top of this.
4.
Join these at the top with a bumpy line, and then add two small lines in between. Add three short lines to either side, with a small circle at the end of each.
5.
Use the ruler to add a line inside the top of the guitar neck…

And connect these with straight, horizontal lines.
7.
Add another two lines to the center of these.
8.
Now, add an angled rectangle to the bottom of the shape, and add a line to the center of this. Add short, horizontal lines to the right section.

Add a series of lines connecting this to the circle…

And then add two curved lines above.

Now, add short curved lines to the top and bottom…
12.
Add curved lines to the top of this, and then join these to the lines at the top.
13.
Add a large, curved bottom to the shape, creating the main body of the guitar…

Add a slightly thicker line to the right side.
15.
Now, add a series of musical notes to the right of the neck.
16.
Use an orange pencil to shade the main body of the guitar.
17.
Use a yellow pencil for the neck of the guitar…

And use the orange pencil shade for the top.
19.
Use an orange pen to add marks to the body.
20.
Finally, use a blue pencil to add a circle to the right of the guitar, and fill this in.
And there we have it – now all that is left is to create wonderful music, so get writing!
