Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Use a black pen to add an oval shape to the left of your page, and add a “point” to the right of this.
2.

Fill in the shape with a black pen…
3.

And then use a yellow pen to add a curved shape to the top of this, adding a point to the top right.
4.

Outline this shape with a brown line, and then add a line in the center of this – this will be the beak.
5.

Grab a black pen, and add a circle to the end of the beak. Add a small circle inside this for the eye.
6.

Add small marks to the eye for lashes…
7.

And then use a pink pen to add two points to the top of the beak, and take the line across, down to the bottom left, and then looped across to the right.
8.

Add a curved line to the bottom of the beak, and then take the line across to the left, and then loop it to the right.
9.

Continue this line across, and then add an angled shape, with pointed wings at the bottom, before continuing it to the right.
10.

Add a large, curved “n” shape above this for the remaining wing, and then add a bumpy line across the middle. Following this, add a pointed shape below the bumpy line.
11.

Add two more points to the right of this…
12.

And then bring a curved line across from the top of the wing. Take this to the right, and then add three curved points. Connect these tail feathers to the line to the side.
13.

Add another small wing to the bottom of the body, with three points…
14.

And then go over the outlines with a dark pink pen. Use this to shade the section just in front of the wing.
15.

Use a light pink pen to shade the rest of the body.
16.

Use a light brown pen to add two “arrow” lines below the body, ending in a forked foot.
17.

Now, add two parallel lines to the left, creating the other leg…
18.

And add a foot to the bottom of this.
19.

Shade the legs with an orange pen.
20.

Continue to add color to the body with a pink pen.
21.

Now, use a green pen to add color to the eye.
And there we have it – a super cute, wide-eyed flamingo, just waiting for a name and an adventure – and this is the next step!
