1.

Grab a black pen, and draw a short, black line in the top of your page.
2.

Bring down two lines on the sides of this, and connect these with a jagged line across the bottom.
3.

Bring out two long, curved horns – one on either side.
4.

Add a long, “U” shaped face below this…
5.

And then add a curved square shape to the bottom.
6.

Add a line to the bottom of this square for the mouth, and two dots above for the nostrils.
7.

Draw two circles for eyes…
8.

And shade the inside section of these, leaving a sliver of white on either side. Then, add a slight curve to the top of this.
9.

Next, add tufts of fur below the horn and ears.
10.

Take a slightly jagged line across to the left, and then down towards the bottom of the page. Add a square shape to the bottom.
11.

Add a square hoof to the bottom, and add a small line to this.
12.

Then, add another leg just in front of the back one, with a hoof at the bottom…
13.

And follow this with a third leg behind the one you just drew.
14.

Next, bring a curve down from the right side of the face, and take his in and down to create the fourth leg at the front.
15.

Add small “W” shapes across the fur for texture…
16.

Grab a brown pen, and shade the legs, the back and the fur around the ears.
17.

Use a lighter brown pen for the face, and the remainder of the fur.
18.

Grab a yellow pen, and use this to shade the hooves.
19.

Then, use an orange pen to add color to the horns and muzzle.
And there we have it – it is super easy to see why Highland cows are so popular! All yours needs now is a name; can you oblige?
