When it comes to taking good care of your cat, ensuring that they have access to plenty of fresh, clean water is crucial for maintaining healthy kidney function and keeping your pet in tip-top condition. Being the finicky creatures that they are, cats will not touch their water if it is too close to their food bowl, and so providing them with their own special water source is important.
In just a few steps, we will learn to draw your pet their very own bowl!

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Begin by taking a gray pencil, and drawing a series of ovals in the center of your page.
2.

Go over the lines a few more times, making them a little thicker.
3.

Now, bring a line down from either end of the bowl, heading towards the bottom corners of the page.
4.

Connect these two lines together with a curved line at the bottom.
5.

Now, add another line beneath this one, making this slightly longer. Connect the ends of this to the line above to give your bowl a rim.
6.

Add a small “arrow” shape to the bottom of the bowl, and then add a parallel line below. Connect the two together with a curve at both ends.
7.

Then, add a series of four small ovals above the arrow, creating a small paw print.
8.

Use the eraser to remove the lines at the top of the bowl…
9.

And then add a single circle for the top.
10.

Add another circle, just outside this first one, to create the top of the bowl.
11.

Using the pencil, shade in the back section of the inside of the bowl…
12.

And add a touch of tonal shading to the front, making this heavier at the top, and lighter at the bottom.
13.

Add some shading to the inside of the bowl…
14.

And then use a black pen to fill in the paw print on the front…
15.

As well as the rim at the bottom of the bowl!
There we have it: your very own super cute bowl, ready to refresh and rehydrate your precious pet, leaving them happy, healthy, and ready to play!
