Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a pink pen, and draw the top of a heart shape in the right of your page, bringing the left side of this down and across.
2.

Repeat this with a similar shape on the left using a red pen, and add a small heart shape to the top of this.
3.

Use a black pen to add an oval shape to the bottom of these, and add a curve just below the top.
4.

Use the black pen to bring a curved line up from the center of this oval shape. Take this to a triangular point for an ear, then take the line across, add a “tuft” of fur, and then another ear to the left, bringing this line down towards the bottom of the page.
5.

Bring a curved line up from the bottom of this, and add a curved “m” shape to the top.
6.

Bring a line across from the bottom of this, and run this line parallel to the curved one, bringing it down to the bottom and then across in a bumpy line.
7.

Add two lines above this, and add a bump to the end for paws. Then, add longer lines to this for claws.
8.

Add three bumps just above the bottom line, and add a heart shape inside this.
9.

Bring a curve up from the top of this…
10.

And then add a small triangle inside each ear.
11.

Add a small triangle to the center of the face, and then add a triangle nose to the bottom of this.
12.

Bring a curved line across on either side, with flicks at the end, for the mouth.
13.

Add another paw, complete with claws, to the right side…
14.

And then complete the outline of your cup.
15.

Add a series of hearts across the top of the mug…
16.

And then add two curved, horizontal lines across this.
17.

Now, add a row of hearts to the bottom of the mug…
18.

And label the mug with the word “Coffee”.
19.

Add a large speech bubble emerging from the top of the cat’s mouth…
20.

And fill this with a contented “Meow”.
21.

Use a black fineliner to add a series of stripes all down the tail and up the body of the cat.
22.

Add stripes to the face with long, thin rectangles…
23.

And then use a pink pen to shade the ears, the feet, and the hearts on the mug.
24.

Add color to the top of the mug with the black pen…
25.

And then shade the main body of this with the red pen.
26.

Use an orange pen for the stripes of the cat…
27.

And then an orange pencil for the stripes in between.
And voila – your very own super cute cat enjoying a hot cup of coffee; what could be better than that?
