Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Begin by using a black pen to draw a large, curved dome shape in the center of your page.
2.

Add two curved “triangle” shapes, one on either side, and add a line dividing each of these in two – these will be your cat ears.
3.

Bring the ends of the dome down slightly, and then curve out and back in to create a rounded shape. Leave a gap at the bottom.
4.

On the right hand side, bring a wavy line down from the bottom of the rounded shape, just to the right of the gap.
5.

At the end of the heavy line, add a curved bottom, topped by three “bumps” to give your cat a paw. Just above this, add another bumpy line.
6.

Now, add two curved lines to the right of the wavy line, and join these with a curve to create a tail.
7.

Just below the gap at the top, add two more curved lines, once again joined with a curve, and add two short marks heading to the right – this will become another paw.
8.

Repeat this shape on the left hand side, just below the rounded face, to create another paw.
9.

Then, bring a curved line down from this, and add another paw to the left, just as you did before. Add an identical bumpy line above this.
10.

Connect the two bottom paws together with a curved line…
11.

And then add a large “U” shape in the gap at the bottom of the face, creating the furry chest of your feline.
12.

Add another, parallel line to the right of this, inside the original line.
13.

Now, join the tops of the “U” together with a bumpy line, rising to a point in the middle, and another line just below this one.
14.

Add a large circle to the middle of this shape – do you see the donut coming to life?
15.

Return to the face of the cat, and add a short curved line heading across, and then a second line at a 90 degree angle.
16.

Just above these, add two “crescent moon” shapes, with a slight gap in the center, to create eyes for your cat.
17.

Switch to a black fineliner pen, and add a small dot to the center of each of the bottom paws. Then, add three small dots in each of the toes on both feet.
18.

Using the fineliner, add three long, thin shapes to the top of the head, heading down – make the one in the center a little longer than those at the edges. Add two of these shapes to both sides of the cheeks – once again, the bottom ones should be slightly longer than those at the top.
19.

Add a small circle between the eyes and mouth…
20.

And then use a brown pen to carefully fill in the stripes.
21.

Switch to a pink pen, and add two long, thin shapes below the eyes. Add three short, diagonal lines to each of these, and then use the pink pen to fill in the shape, leaving these lines white.
22.

Use the same pink to add color to the donut…
23.

And grab an orange pen to shade in the outside edges.
24.

Use the pink pen to fill in the nose and ears of your kitty…
25.

And the same shade for the pads of the paws.
26.

Now, grab a gray pencil, and follow the outline of the right side of the cat, moving down to the bottom of the face. Shade in this section with the gray, and then add gray sections to the ears.
27.

With a brown pen, fill in the rest of the paws and the tail…
28.

And then use a gray pencil to follow the outline of the body, and shade in the section to the right. Add some more gray areas to the paws at the bottom. Grab the orange pen, and add short lines to the donut – it won’t taste right without sprinkles!
29.

Use a yellow pen and a red pen to add more sprinkes to the donut…
30.

And follow this up with more gray sprinkles.
31.

Use a green pen to add a series of short vertical marks, all around the main body and head of your cat.
32.

Add to these with a red pen…
33.

And then go in again with a blue pen to complete the design.
And just like that, you have your very own adorable cat enjoying a delicious sugary treat. Now, is anyone else feeling peckish? Might be time to head to the bakery…
