Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Use a pencil and drawing compass to add two circles to the center of your page.
2.

Add a triangle to the center of the top circle for the nose, and bring curved lines down from the bottom of this for a mouth.
3.

Enclose this in an oval shape…
4.

And add an arrow shape to the top left of this, with a circle to the right. Add two smaller circles inside this, and then angled brows to the top of each.
5.

Add two triangular ears to the top of the head, and add a smaller triangle inside each of these.
6.

Add three “loops” to the top of the head for stripes…
7.

And then add another circle to the center of the one at the bottom.
8.

Add a large heart shape to the space above this.
9.

Now, add two curves facing in towards one another and a point to the top for the thumbs. Bring the curves across for the paws.
10.

Now, add two legs to the bottom…
11.

And a curved line to the right.
12.

Add stripes all up the tail, and add three pointed stripes to either side.
13.

Use a black pen to go over the outlines…
14.

And then use an eraser to remove the pencil marks.
15.

Use an orange pen to shade the main body of the cat, and alternate stripes on the tail.
16.

Use a lighter orange pen for the bottom of the tummy, the inside of the ears, and the nose.
17.

Now, use a red pen to shade the heart shape…
18.

And a brown pen for the stripes on the tail and the body.
19.

Finally, use a pink pen to shade the nose itself.
And there we have it – a cat who captures your heart in every sense of the word, and what could be better than that?
