There is one thing that pretty much everyone will agree on: ice cream is a superfood, and should be enjoyed whenever and wherever possible. There is another fact which is almost equally universally acknowledged: cats are adorable. So what happens when you combine these two elements to create the perfect cat ice cream? Let’s get started and find out!

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black fineliner pen, and draw a small heart shape in the center of your page.
2.

From the bottom of this, bring a line down and curve it out to either side.
3.

Add a small circle to the bottom of this, roughly in the center…
4.

And then add two curved semicircle lines, one on either side, to create eyes for your kitty.
5.

Add a series of small marks to the top of the curve – every cat needs fabulous eyelashes!
6.

Next, add a large circle shape above the left eye, with a slight dip in the top – this will literally be the cherry on top of your ice cream.
7.

Add a large “teardrop” shape to the right of the cherry, with the tip pointing downwards.
8.

Now, add a long, thin line emerging from the top of the cherry…
9.

And add a small circle to the left, with two small marks above. Then, add a small semicircle to the right of this, and add shorter lashes.
10.

Add another line below this one, flicking this up to the right in a point.
11.

Now, add two triangles to the top of the eyes, and connect these to the sides of the cherry with a curved line.
12.

Bring curved lines down and across to create the outline of the face…
13.

And add two small triangles inside the ears.
14.

Bring a long, thin shape down just inside the right-hand side of the face, and then add two long, thin curves descending from the top of the head.
15.

Add another curved line just below the cherry…
16.

And three more “fingers” on either side, pointing into the middle.
17.

Next, add another curved line below the bottom of the face.
18.

Add two small circles inside this…
19.

And then bring two lines down from the bottom of this, angling in to a curved point at the bottom of the page – this is the cone of the ice cream.
20.

On the right, bring down a curved line, and curve this across to the left to meet the side of the cone…
21.

Before adding a series of three “stripes” moving diagonally across the cone.
22.

Next, add another set of stripes crossing over the first.
23.

Add curved lines emerging from either side of the face to create whiskers.
24.

Grab a pink pen, and use this to fill in the face and side of the drawing.
25.

Now, take the pink pen, and increase the intensity of the shape under the cherry.
26.

Use a red pen to add color to the body of the cherry…
27.

And a light brown pen for the stripes on the cone.
28.

Then, use a brown-orange pen to fill in the rest of the cone.
29.

Finally, grab a pink pen, and use this to add small circles around the outside of the cone.
And there we have it – a combination of two of the best things in the world: a super cute kitty, and a delicious ice cream cone! Who says that you can’t have the best of both worlds?
