Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Begin with a black fineliner pen, and add a small triangle shape to the middle of the page, filling this in to form a solid shape.
2.

At the bottom of this, add two curly lines, flicking out to the left and right of the page.
3.

Add two small circles just above the nose, one on either side of the nose, and fill these in with the black.
4.

Then, add two triangles above the eyes, and connect these in the middle with a curved line – do you see the shape of your cat starting to appear?
5.

Just below the mouth, add a short horizontal line, and add two paws on either side by adding a curved line to the top and a bumpy line at the bottom.
6.

Complete the shape of the face by adding two curved lines to either side, joining the ears and the paws together on both sides.
7.

Now, add a “box” shape underneath the paws by adding two soft corners, and short vertical lines coming down on each side. Connect these at the bottom with a slightly curved line – this is the top of your stocking.
8.

Bring down a line from the right hand side of the top of the stocking, and then curve this across and up in a reverse “L” shape.
9.

Add a small “teardrop” shape to the top right-hand corner of the stocking – it needs a loop to hang from.
10.

Add three short, curved lines to either side of the face to give your cat some whiskers.
11.

Take a black fineliner pen and a ruler, and add a series of stripes across the bottom and middle of your stocking…
12.

And then use the black fineliner pen to add a series of “V” shapes to the top section, and then a line of inverted “V” shapes in the section below.
13.

Add a series of small circles in between the “V” shapes in this section, and then along the bottom section of the stocking.
14.

Use the black fineliner to add curved lined from the center of the face, arching down and across to meet the top whisker on each side.
15.

Add small triangle shapes inside each of the ears…
16.

And use a brown-orange pen to fill in the top right ear.
17.

Grab a red pen, and use this to fill in the triangle on the right ear.
18.

Use a light gray pen to fill in the patch on the left side.
19.

Add more color to the inside triangle on the left ear with a gray pen…
20.

And use the red pen to fill in the main body of the stocking.
Anyone else feeling festive? If this super cute kitty doesn’t get you in the mood for Christmas, we can’t imagine what else will!
