If there is one thing that cats are amazing at, it is doing the bare minimum. In fact, the majority of cats are absolute pros at lounging, chilling, and loafing – and we will learn how to bring this scene to life in just a few simple steps.
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Starting with a black fineliner pen, add a small triangle to the middle of your page.
Bring down two curved lines from the bottom point of the triangle, one heading to the bottom right-hand corner of the page, and the second to the bottom left-hand corner of the page. This is the nose and mouth of your kitty.
Add two curved lines to the space above the nose…
And then add two lines to each side of the nose to create whiskers.
Add a longer curved line above the eyes…
And then add two triangle shapes to either end of this to create ears.
Add two curved lines heading down towards the bottom of the page to create the outline of the face.
Then, add two long oval shapes to the bottom of the face to create paws.
Return to the right of the left ear, and bring a curved line up, across, and down to curve back up and across, making a back and tail for your cat. Then, bring a line across from the bottom of the tail, connecting to the front paws.
Add two small triangles inside the ears…
And then three stripes descending from the top of the head, and in from the edges of the cheeks.
Add two thin stripes to the tip of the tail.
Now, add two long, thin “points” along the back of the cat…
And fill in the rest of the body with a brown-orange pen.
Use a pink pen to fill in the inner triangles of the ear.
Grab a brown pen, and fill in the kittys’ cute tiger stripes.
Finally, use a black pen to fill in the nose and complete the look.
And there we have it – your very own super cute kitty, curled up for a long, relaxing snooze – sounds like a good idea after a long day at work!
