Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black fineliner pen, and draw a small triangle in the right-hand half of the page.
2.

Add two curved lines descending from the bottom of the triangle, heading out to the corners of the page.
3.

Add a series of dots on either side of the curved lines, giving your cat whiskers.
4.

Add a curved line connecting the two lines, and add a small “U” shape, with a tiny dash in the middle, to create a nose and tongue for your kitty.
5.

Next, add two curved lines above the triangle…
6.

And add to these to create two almond shapes for eyes, with flicks emerging from either side of this.
7.

Add short, thick lines in the center of the eyes…
8.

And then a “V” shape above these.
9.

Bring down two curved lines at either end of the “V” shape, heading inwards.
10.

Bring the lines back out and down on both sides, before bringing them back in to the bottom of the face. Leave a gap at the bottom, and add a short semi-circle by the chin.
11.

Now, bring two curved lines up across the length of the face, ending just above the “V” shape.
12.

Add two triangles to the top of the face, leaving a gap in the middle.
13.

Next, add a short curved line in the middle of each triangle…
14.

Next, add a line from the bottom of this, heading to the top corners of the “V”, and then connecting in the middle with another curved lines.
15.

Now, add a bumpy “cloud” shape to the left of the face, creating a paw…
16.

Before adding small ovals inside each of the bumps, and another “cloud” below this to create the details of the paw.
17.

Add a small curve below the pad of the paw, and then bring a line down on the right, heading down past the bottom of the face.
18.

Add another line to the left, parallel to the first.
19.

Connect the bottom of the arm to the bottom of the face with a bumpy line…
20.

And then add two triangle shapes just below the paw.
21.

Add a thin, pointed triangle to the right of the face, roughly in line with the mouth.
22.

Add another paw outline to the end of this…
23.

And then add the same details just inside.
24.

Bring another line down from the bottom of the paw, heading towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page.
25.

Add two more triangles, just below the detail of the paw…
26.

Return to the line on the left of the body, and extend this down towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page.
27.

At the end of this line, add a wide “C” shape to create a foot, and bring a flick up at the end of this. Add a few short lines to create the toes of your cat.
28.

Add another bumpy line to the right of this…
29.

And then a “U” shape at the end, with a small mark in the middle pointing upwards.
30.

Bring the right line of the “U” up, and add a bumpy line at the top to create another set of toes. At the end of this, bring the line back down.
31.

Add more small paw details to the right foot…
32.

And then bring a curved line across to the left, mirroring the one at the bottom.
33.

Next, add a long, thin tail in the center of the legs, pointing towards the left-hand side.
34.

Add a short line to create a tip of the tail, and add three small triangles along the length.
35.

Now, add a round shape to the center of the cat, creating a long, thin tummy.
36.

Add two wavy lines in the center of the tummy, and add a small dot below this.
37.

Next, add a series of small, curved triangles around the outside of the tummy.
38.

Use a yellow pen to fill in the eyes…
39.

And a pink pen for the inside of the ears, and the detail of the paws.
40.

Grab a red pen, and use this to add color to the tongue and the mouth.
41.

Now, use a light gray pen for the main body…
42.

And a darker gray pen for the head, the tummy, the tip of the tail and the triangles.
43.

Grab a black fineliner pen to add detail to the mouth.
44.

Finally, use a black pen to go over the outline of the cat to complete your look.
And just like that, you have created an adorable, relaxed cat, laying back and enjoying life the way it should be – the only worry he has is what is being prepared for dinner!
