Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a pencil and a drawing compass, and add a small circle to the top of your page.
2.

Grab a ruler, and draw a horizontal line at the bottom of the circle. Then, bring a vertical line down from the center of this.
3.

Connect the ends of the horizontal line to the central line to form a triangle.
4.

Add a longer horizontal line to the bottom of the page, and use diagonal lines to connect this to the central line to create another circle.
5.

Use the drawing compass to add a small circle to the bottom points of the bottom triangles, and the top points of that at the top.
6.

Use the ruler to bring lines down from the top and bottom of the top circles to meet the central line.
7.

Repeat this with the bottom circles…
8.

And then connect the two shapes together with short, vertical lines in the middle.
9.

Add a curved line to either side of these straight ones…
10.

And then add a “loop” to the outside of each of the bottom circles.
11.

Add two circles to the circle at the top, and add small curved shapes to the top of this.
12.

Add a curved smile to the bottom…
13.

And then add the outline of a bowtie to the bottom of the face.
14.

Next, add three small circles all down the central line.
15.

Grab a black fineliner, and use this to go over the outlines of the shape.
16.

Add two wavy lines to the ends of each of the main “limbs”…
17.

And then use an eraser to remove all of the pencil lines.
18.

Use an orange pen for the main body of the cookie.
19.

Add color to the bowtie with a green pen…
20.

And then shade the buttons with a red pen!
And voila – a super cute Christmas cookie, just waiting to be crunched up and enjoyed with a tasty glass of mulled wine: festive bliss!
