Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Grab a black pen, and draw a small star at the top of your page.
2.

Bring down two curved lines from the bottom of this, taking these down towards the bottom corners of the page, and connect them at the bottom with a gentle wavy line.
3.

Repeat this shape just below the first one to create the second layer of the Christmas tree.
4.

Then, repeat this a third time, making this one a little larger, for the third layer.
5.

Add a small square to the bottom for the trunk…
6.

And then add a wavy line to the bottom of each layer.
7.

Now, use sets of parallel lines to draw a “criss-cross” design all down the length of the tree – this will be the tinsel!
8.

Add baubles with several small circles…
9.

And follow this with a couple of small candy cane shapes, a stocking, and extra balls.
10.

Now, add a few stars for decoration…
11.

Grab a green pen, and shade the spaces between the tinsel and the decorations.
12.

Use a yellow or gold pen for one strand of tinsel on each layer…
13.

And follow this with a red pen for the other strand.
14.

Now use the yellow pen for a few of the stars and baubles, and the red pen for a few other decorations.
15.

Grab a blue pen, and use this to color the star, the stocking, and a few of the decorations.
16.

Then, use a brown pen for the trunk of your tree.
Now – is anyone else in the mood for mulled wine and plenty of cheesy Christmas carols?
