Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Begin by using a black pen and a ruler to add a large rectangle shape to the left side of your page.
2.

Add another, smaller shape inside this one, and cross over the corners to create four small squares – this will be your computer monitor.
3.

Add a small rectangle to the bottom of this, in the center, and then add a long, thin rectangle to the bottom of this to form the stand for your monitor.
4.

Add two vertical lines inside the stand, and then add a vertical line to either end.
5.

Now, add a square to the bottom of this, angling the lines so that the bottom is wider than the top for the keyboard.
6.

Use a ruler to add a series of lines running up the length of this, leaving the center white.
7.

Add a line to the bottom of the keyboard…
8.

And then add another line just above this.
9.

Add horizontal lines to the bottom of alternating vertical stripes.
10.

Fill in the central section with three more sets of lines…
11.

And then use a black pencil to add color to the stripe at the bottom, as well as small dots in the squares you have created.
12.

Add more lines to the keyboard, dividing it into squares.
13.

Bring a curved line across from the monitor stand, and add an oval shape to the end of this.
14.

Add a curve to the top for the top of the mouse, and then divide this top section into two halves.
15.

Now, use the ruler to add a large rectangle to the right of the monitor for the computer itself.
16.

Use a ruler to add a line halfway up the computer, and another line just below the top.
17.

Add lines to the sides, creating squares in the top corners.
18.

Add two more sets of horizontal lines below this…
19.

And then use a gray pencil and drawing compass to add a ring to the bottom section.
20.

Grab a black pen, and shade the main body of the computer, the outside of the monitor, and the alternate sections of the keyboard, as well as the bottom of the mouse.
21.

Use a red pen for the ring on the computer, and the bottom half of this circle. Use the same shade for the small rectangular sections above this.
22.

Add small square shapes to the bottom of the monitor on the right side…
23.

And then use a black pen to add a diagonal line to the top of the monitor. Shade the space below this line.
24.

Shape the space above the line with a gray pen, and use this for the top of the rectangles on the computer, the stand, and the top and bottom of the keyboard, and the top of the mouse.
25.

Use a gray pen for the bottom rectangle on the computer, and then a green pen for the top of the ring in this section.
And just like that, you have your very own super modern computer, just waiting to unlock the secrets of the web – but where will your research begin?
