Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a black fineliner pen and a ruler, and drawing a straight line in the left half of your page. At the top and bottom, bring two short, angled lines in towards the center.
2.

Connect the top and bottom lines with a straight line, and then add another vertical line to the left of this, stopping just below the bottom.
3.

At the bottom of this, bring a line across to the right…
4.

And make the lines on the top and right a little thicker.
5.

Now, bring a curved line across from the left, and curve this down in an “L” shape to create the stand for the monitor.
6.

Use a black fineliner pen to add a small oval shape in the center of this…
7.

And then use a black fineliner pen and ruler to add two parallel, horizontal lines below this.
8.

Join the lines at either end and then bring a line up from the left end to connect to the back of the “L” shape. Bring another line up from the right end, and then bring this across to meet the top line of the bottom of the “L”.
9.

Add a small square just inside this shape…
10.

And then use a black fineliner pen to add a series of smaller squares inside this larger one.
11.

Use a black fineliner pen and ruler to add a long, thin rectangle to the bottom of this section…
12.

And then use the ruler and fineliner to add four legs to the bottom of the desk.
13.

Next, take a black fineliner pen, and bring a horizontal line across to the right, and then angle this up towards the top right-hand corner of the page.
14.

Bring a curved line across the top of this, and add two “bumps” heading downwards. Now, add two parallel lines to create a wide “n” shape – do you see the chair starting to take form?
15.

Add a long, curved line to the top of the horizontal line, and then add another bump to create the outline of the seat. Then, add two short, vertical lines from just inside the left of the “n” to create an armrest.
16.

Add short lines on each of the “bumps” to create cushioning for the seat, and then add a horizontal line just above the one at the bottom.
17.

Add two short, diagonal lines to the bottom, and join these with a horizontal line…
18.

And then bring down two parallel, vertical lines, ending with a small rectangle at the bottom.
19.

Add another, smaller “n” shape, and add small circles to the bottom of either end…
20.

And then grab a pale orange pencil for the top of the desk.
21.

Take a dark brown pencil, and fill in the bottom of the desk, and the legs at the bottom. Then, add the same shade to the body of the chair.
22.

Go back over the top of the desk with a pale orange pencil…
23.

And go over the armrests with a brown pen.
24.

Use a gray pen for the outside of the monitor, the keyboard, and the bottom of the seat.
25.

Use a black fineliner pen and a ruler to add a series of straight lines across the screen for content.
And there we have it – a perfect, cozy place to unwind, relax and get inspired.
