1.
Start with a pencil, and draw a large crescent moon shape in the center of your page.
2.
Use a ruler to draw a sharp “A” shape to the right of the crescent moon.
3.
Add lines to the bottom to turn this into a star.
4.
Add another star to the right of the first…

And then a third smaller one to the left.
6.
Now, add stars all across the page…

And then use a black pen to go over the outlines you have drawn.
8.
Use an eraser to remove any outstanding pencil marks.

Grab a yellow pen, and shade the crescent moon…
10.
And then use a blue pen to shade a few of the stars.
11.
Shade the remaining stars with a light gray pen.
12.
Now, use a blue pen to go over the outline of the stars and the moon…

And then shade the background with a dark blue pen.
And just like that, you have your very own crescent moon surrounded by beautiful stars – what could be more beautiful?
