Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by using a pencil to draw the beak of the crow, pointing to the left of your page.
2.

Bring a curved line across from the top of this, and take this across, down, and make a “point” at the back.
3.

Add more points heading down and in for the feathers at the back of your bird, forming the larger wing.
4.

Now, add a smaller wing in front of this first one, and connect this to the bottom of the beak with a curved line.
5.

Bring a curved line down from the bottom of the small wing, add two small “bumps”, and bring a curved line to the right.
6.

Add a series of sharp, long feathers to this back section for the tail, and then add another section above.
7.

Bring two clawed feet down from the bottom of each bump at the bottom…
8.

Draw the remaining feathers.
9.

And add another layer of feathers to the back of the wings.
10.

Draw a small circle behind the beak.
11.

Use a black pen to go over the top of the head and the back of the beak, as well as the front wings.
12.

Shade the back set of wings with the black pen…
13.

And then use the black pen to go over the bottom of the body, including the back tailfeathers.
14.

Fill this section in with the black pen.
15.

Outline the rest of the head…
16.

And then color the head and face with the black pen.
17.

Use a dark gray pen for the beak and the rest of the wings and feathers.
And there we have it – a majestic crow, simply waiting for a name!
