We all know the pleasure of a sugary, delicious cupcake, packed with sweet sprinkles, tasty frosting. But a cupcake monster? If you have the courage, bring this spooky scene to life in just a few short, sinister steps…
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Start by taking a black pen, and drawing a large, wide “U” shape in the center of your page. Add two small curved lines to the top of each side.
Just above the bottom of the “U”, add a curved, wavy line…
And then add two tall, thin triangles – one on each end. Add a series of shorter triangles in between these two taller ones to create a row of razor-sharp teeth.
Now, connect the tops of the “U” shape together with a curved line to create a horizontal crescent moon shape.
Add another set of teeth to this top line, reaching down to meet those at the bottom.
Now, add a sideways “teardrop” shape above this mouth, on the right-hand side. The point of the “teardrop” should be pointing towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page, and you should add a long, thin curve just inside the top line.
Add a shape to the left of this – this time almost almond in shape, and add a small curve inside this to create a set of eyes.
Fill in these shapes almost completely with the black pen, leaving the small curves white. Do you see creepy eyes starting to emerge?
Now, add a curved line to the outside of each of these eyes…
And add a larger curve around the right-hand eye. At the bottom of this curve, bring a wavy line across to the left, then bring this up and back across towards the top left-hand corner of the page, before curving it back down and across to meet the original line with a jagged design.
Now bring a curved line down from the bottom left, and then bring this across at a 90-degree angle to the left. Then curve this back up to the line on the left.
Add a large semicircle just above the bottom line…
And then a series of curved lines heading vertically up the main body of the design.
Next, add a curved line to the top left of the design…
And then a curved line above the right of the shape. Add an “n” shape above this curved line to create a cherry, and then add a stalk emerging from the top of this.
Connect this cherry shape to the top of the main cupcake with a curved line on the right and left, meeting the lines at the top.
Connect the lines at the top, giving you a series of wavy lines…
And then bring out a long, thin curved shape to the right. Fill this with curved “stripes”.
Move to the section at the top, and bring a curved line up and across to the right, meeting the stalk of the cherry. On the other side of the stalk, continue the line, creating a pointed tip.
Add a series of small circles all across the top two sections…
Draw a large circular shape all around the top of the design, leaving gaps for the shapes peeking out on the right.
Take a black pen, and use this to fill in the space in the center of the mouth…
Before using a purple pen to fill in the bottom lips, the frosting on the top, and the small circles.
Grab a pink pen, and fill in the top sections of the cupcake…
And use a red pen for the stripes and the vibrant color of the cherry.
Grab a pink pen, and fill in the slits you left in the eyes.
Then, use a brown pencil to shade the bottom section…
And go over this with a pink pencil to create a mixed shade.
And voila! A super creepy cupcake has emerged from nowhere… but will you be brave enough to eat it, or does the cupcake have other plans?
