When it comes to cool and cute animals, the flamingo has to top the list – they are tall, lanky… and pink? What is not to like?

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Start by taking a black pen, and draw a small, curved triangular shape just to the right of the center of your page.
2.
Add a curved line to the center of this shape.
3.
Then, bring a “hook” up, across to the left, and back down towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
4.
Add a wing to the end of the line by adding a circular shape, topped by three bumps.
5.
Bring another line from the bottom of the beak, curving across and down towards the bottom of the page, and then around the bottom of the wing, and up to a point.

Add a semicircle to the face…

And then add small marks underneath this for eyelashes.
8.
Add an “L” shape below the bottom of the curved line…

And add another line to the right of this.
10.
Then, add a small foot to the end of the legs.
11.
Add a vertical line descending from the bottom of the bird, heading towards the bottom of the page.

Add another line to the right of this…

And then a second foot to the bottom of this.
14.
Now, grab the black pen and fill in the legs, and the section at the bottom of the beak.
15.
Use a pink pen to add a small mark to the cheek…
16.
And use the same shade for the wing.
17.
Grab a pink pencil, and use this to add a gentle shade to the rest of the flamingo.
Voila! Your very own stunning flamingo, standing neatly on one leg and waiting for some delicious fish to enjoy.
