Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a black fineliner pen, and drawing a small circle in the center of your page. Add another, smaller circle inside the first.
2.

Now, add a small, triangular shape to the right of the first shape…
3.

And bring a curved line across and up, dipping down at the end.
4.

At the end of this line, add a “horseshoe” shape, with a small, “reverse D” shape inside to create an ear.
5.

At the end of this ear, add another curved line, stretching across to the right…
6.

Bring a curved line down from the bottom of the nose, towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
7.

Now, add a small “u” shape to the end of this line…
8.

And then extend the line across and in towards the top line.
9.

Add another “u” shape, and then connect the tops and bottom lines with a point.
10.

Add another two legs, one in front of the back, and one in front of the leg in front.
11.

Now, bring a curved, jagged line across from the top of the head, back across, and down to meet the point of the tail…
12.

And add a few jagged lines inside this main body for spikes.
13.

Add a short curve below the nose…
14.

And then add a small circle to the right of this, just below the eyes.
15.

Grab a light brown pen, and fill in the bottom section.
16.

Use a pink pen for the spot on the cheek, and the inside of the ear.
17.

Now, use a brown pen for the spikes over the back.
18.

Finally, use a black fineliner pen for the main body of the eye, leaving the small dot white.
And there we have it – your very own hoglet, just waiting to be named!
