Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw a “heart shape” in the center of your page – this should be at a slight angle rather than straight up.
2.

Add a second shape just to the right of this first one.
3.

Then, add an upside-down “teardrop” shape just to the left of the original shape…
4.

And then add a bumpy “cloud” shape to the top of each of these.
5.

Next, add three wiggly lines, each in line with the “bumps” of the cloud, inside the shape.
6.

Now, add a series of small marks running vertically up the center of each of the main shapes, and then cross these with a series of dashes running horizontally.
7.

Add a series of circles and teardrop shapes around these marks, and fill these in with a black.
8.

Next, draw a circular shape underneath and around the three shapes – the front of this should be dashed, while the back is solid.
9.

From this line, bring lines down on either side, around a quarter of an inch in length. Then, add a wiggly line to connect the two halves.
10.

Next, bring down two vertical lines, one on either side and connect these at the bottom with a straight horizontal line to create the bottom of your cake.
11.

Add a few droplets and icing details to the top…
12.

And then add another line, this time with slight “spikes” across and around the bottom of the cake.
13.

Add two large circles to the center of the shape, and add smaller ovals inside these. Then, add a curly “E” shape in the middle of the two circles to create a nose.
14.

Use the black to fill in the circles and create eyes, leaving the smaller ovals white.
15.

Now, grab a brown pencil, and fill in the icing at the top and around the bottom of the cake with this shade.
16.

Using a red pencil, fill in the shapes on top to create delicious strawberries…
17.

And add the stalks with a green pencil.
18.

Finally, use a yellow pencil to fill in the main body of the cake and complete the design.
And voila, you have created a sumptuous-looking chocolate cake – where is the knife to cut that first slice?
