Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a black pen, and drawing a large square in the center of your page.
2.

Then, add another, smaller square inside the first.
3.

Add two ovals to the center of the squares…
4.

And then add two curved marks above these, creating eyes and brows for your cute computer.
5.

Now, add a small curve below the eyes for a nose, and then a wide semicircle beneath this to create a smiling mouth.
6.

Next, add two smaller circles inside the main eyes. Add two small dots to the top, and fill in the eyes with the black pen, leaving these two dots white.
7.

Now, add a curved line to the top of the mouth, and an “m” shape to the bottom. Fill in the space in the middle with the black pen.
8.

Bring down two short, parallel lines from the bottom of the square, and then add a large oval shape to the bottom of this. Then, add another curved line below this.
9.

Next, add a large rectangular shape just below this…
10.

And add another rectangular shape inside this one.
11.

Now, use a black fineliner pen to add a series of small boxes to the rectangle, using alternating vertical and horizontal lines, creating the keyboard.
12.

Grab the black pen, and add a tall, thin rectangle to the right of the screen – this should flare out slightly at the top and bottom. Then, add three small oval shapes to the right of this to create fingers.
13.

Add a wide rectangle to the top of this shape, and fill this in with the black pen…
14.

And then add two more rectangles below this.
15.

Divide the main rectangle in half with a horizontal line, and then add another rectangle below this. Then, add two circles below this, making the lines of the top circle slightly thicker.
16.

Next, bring a curved line across from the bottom of the rectangle, down and back towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page. At the end of this, add an oval shape, and add a line across the middle of this. Then, divide the top section in half with a vertical line. This is the mouse for the cute computer.
17.

Bring two curved lines across on the left in a “C” shape, and add a bumpy section to the bottom of this.
18.

Grab a blue pen, and add color to the inside section of the screen…
19.

And then use a cyan pencil to gently shade the center.
20.

Use a gray pencil to shade in the eyes…
21.

And then a red pen for the bottom of the mouth.
22.

Grab a gray pencil to add color to the outside of the screen, the main body of the computer, the mouse and the keyboard.
23.

Use a tissue to smudge the surface gently, leaving you with a smooth finish.
24.

Finally, use a gray pencil on the keyboard again to complete your drawing.
Now, that looks like a happy computer, ready to take on any task you have to throw at it!
