Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a black pen, and drawing a “c” shape in the right half of your page. Extend the top and bottom lines of the “C” across to the right, and then join them at the end with a curved line to create a beak.
2.

Add another line just above the bottom of the beak, and then make a short mark at the top.
3.

Bring a curved line across and down from the bottom of the beak, and then echo this at the top, extending the line down a little further this time.
4.

Connect the two halves with a curved line at the bottom, and then add a “strip” to the bottom of this.
5.

Add a small circle to the right of the beak, and then add a smaller semicircle inside this to create an eye for your duck.
6.

Bring a line across from the bottom of the neck, heading out towards the right and downwards slightly.
7.

At the end of this line, create a “point”, and bring the line back across to the right, curving it as you go. Then, connect the top and bottom with a curved line to create the body.
8.

Add a line below the top of the body, curving across, down, and then back up in a “bump” towards the end.
9.

Now, bring another curved line down from the left of the bottom of the neck, and curve this down and across to the right.
10.

Continue this line down to create a small “v” at the bottom, and then bring the line back upwards, ending in a jagged section at the end for the tail.
11.

Add two “waves” connecting this to the bottom of the wing.
12.

Add a curved line across the tail, then take a bumpy line from the edge of the right wave down to the curved line.
13.

Add a jagged line to the left of the curved line…
14.

And then add another jagged line to the front, coming down from the front of the wing.
15.

Next, add two sets of parallel lines emerging from the bottom of the body…
16.

Now, bring two more sets of parallel lines down and across to the right.
17.

Add three bumps to the end of each of these for toes…
18.

Grab an orange pen and fill in the beak, the top of the wing, and the bottom section. Then, use this shade to add three curved lines along the wing.
19.

Use a black pen to fill in the right section of the eye…
20.

And then use a green pen for the top of the tail, and the head of the duck.
21.

Grab a brown pen, and fill in the wing and the bottom of the tail.
22.

Use a yellow pen for the front of the chest and the stripe on the tail…
23.

And use an orange pen for the ring around the neck.
24.

Finally, use a red pen to fill in the feet.
And there we have it, a cute, curious duck just waiting for a flock to join!
