Of all the botanical delights on the planet, there is no denying that a cute flower has the ability to cheer you up no end, so let’s bring one to life!

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Start by using a black pen to draw a large circle in the center of your page.

Next, add two small dots inside the center of the circle.
3.
Add a small semicircle underneath these circles to create a friendly smile…
4.
And add a series of straight lines all around the outside of the circle.
5.
Connect these lines together with a curved line at the end to create the petals of your flower.
6.
Bring two lines down from the bottom of the flower head, curving these in slightly as they get closer to the bottom. Connect the two lines at the bottom with a straight line.

Add a large “balloon” shape to the right of the stem for a leaf…

And then repeat this on the other side to create another leaf.

Add two curved lines inside each of these…

And then add a wide “almond” shape to the bottom, creating a base for your stem to emerge from.

Now, add two lines angling in from the corners of the almond shape…

And connect these at the bottom with a curved line.
13.
Add another curved line, this time just above the bottom of the stem, to create the inside of the pot…

And then use a pink pen to fill in the petals.
15.
Add color to the center of your flower with a yellow pen.
16.
Use a green pen to add color to the leaves…
17.
And then a blue pen for the pot at the bottom.

Finally, use a brown pen for the soil inside the pot.
And there we have it – a happy-looking flower ready to brighten up every room!
