Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw two half-circle shapes, both slightly angled, in the center of your page.
2.

Add two sets of circles inside each, with one slightly larger than the other.
3.

Now, draw a series of curved lines emerging from the edges for long, luscious lashes…
4.

And then connect these shapes – the eyes – together with two diagonal lines at the top, joined by a horizontal line. Bring two angled lines down from below the eyes.
5.

Join the lines at the bottom with a curved line, and then add a wide “m” shape just above this.
6.

Now, add two small circles and a curved shape below into this section.
7.

Bring two curved lines up from the top of this nose section, and connect these to the sides of the eyes.
8.

Add a small half-circle and a larger circle into each of the side sections…
9.

And then add two large, curved, pointed ears to the top of the head.
10.

Add a curved line just below each of the ears…
11.

And then bring up two sets of short, parallel lines, topped with jagged shapes, to form the horns on top of the head.
12.

Bring two curved lines down from the bottom of the chin…
13.

And then add patches and circles all down the length of the neck.
14.

Use a black pen to shade the eyes, outside the small circles.
15.

Now, use a brown pen to shade the spots, the ears, the nose, and the horns.
16.

Shade the nose and mouth with a black pen…
17.

And then use a lighter orange pen for the top of the head and the ears.
18.

Finally, grab a yellow pen for the remaining spaces on your giraffe.
