Start by taking a red pen, and drawing a large “u” shape in the center of your page, bringing the tops in and close together. Add a wide oval shape to the center of this – this is the mask in the ninjas hood.

Use the red pen to add red shading to the bottom of the central shape…

Switch to a black pen, and add two circles in the top of the “u” shape.

Next, add two “almond” shapes inside the mask with a black fineliner pen. Add two small circles inside these shapes for eyes, and then add two marks above the eyes for brows.

Use the red pen to fill in the rest of the shape.

Now, use the red pen to bring a line down from the bottom, reaching towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page. Then, bring the line across at a diagonal to the right, and then across horizontally to the right. Add an “arrow” shape inwards, and then connect the top of the “arrow” to the bottom of the face.

Cut off the left-hand side of the body, and fill this in with the red pen.

Leave a small triangle, and then fill in the rest of the body with the red pen.

Use the red pen to add a curved line from the left circle at the top, reaching up, across and down towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

Now, use the black pen to add a small hand to the right of the body…

And then use the black pen to add a curved line to the right of the hand, adding a short horizontal line to the top of this.

Add a black section to the bottom of the body…

And then use the red pen to add a wavy “w” shape to the bottom section.

Add another curved line to the one at the top, joining the two together with a point. Fill in the shape with the red pen.
15.
Now, use the black pen to add two small bumps to the bottom of the red section for feet.

Grab a light orange or peach pencil, and shade the face.
Now, everyone stay very quiet… we all know that ninjas have perfect hearing…
