Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by using a brown pen, and drawing a curved line at the top of your page.
2.

Use the brown pen to draw a curved “n” shape descending from the left-hand side of the curve.
3.

Next, bring another curved line down from the right-hand end of the top curve…
4.

And connect the bottoms together with two short horizontal lines, and a point in the middle.
5.

Now, add another line to the inside of the point, and underneath the bottom right section.
6.

Add another line to the left of the point, and up inside the right0hand stem of the “n”.
7.

Then, continue the line down the left-hand side of the “n”.
8.

Add another line just inside this to thicken it…
9.

And then fill in the space inside the point.
10.

Now, add three lines to the top right of the original curve, and connect these at the top with curved lines. Add two small lines inside the left section to create a chimney.
11.

Bring a line across from the top of the point at the bottom, and then draw a line down from the end of this, and across to connect to the bottom of the point. Now, use the brown pen to add a series of short, horizontal lines across the whole of the roof.
12.

Bring three curved, vertical lines down from each of the corners…
13.

And then add a small “n” shape in the middle of the right section. Then, add another line inside the right line of the “n”.
14.

Draw two horizontal, slightly curved lines from the bottom of either side of the “n”.
15.

Add two small rectangles inside the “n”, and then connect these together and to the bottom with short vertical lines, to draw the door.
16.

Now, add two windows to the front of the house with one outer square, a smaller one inside each, and then a cross shape in the center.
17.

Add two small, horizontal marks underneath each window…
18.

And then connect the back of the house to the front with a short line.
19.

Now, add another “n” shape to the top of the left side, underneath the roof. Fill this in with the brown pen and then draw a triangle shape below this, but do not connect the bottom point. Add another, smaller triangle inside this first one, and then add a double horizontal line to the bottom point.
20.

Add two more windows below this, making the left and bottom lines slightly thicker…
21.

And then add an outer square to each of these windows.
22.

Now, bring out two “cloud” shapes from either side of the house, and add a series of smaller marks inside these.
23.

Bring a curved line up from the shape on the left, and branch this off into smaller curves to create a tree.
24.

Now for some color! Grab a purple pen, and fill in the main section of the roof.
25.

Now, use a yellow pen to fill in the outside of the windows, the doors, and the decoration on the left.
26.

Use a green pen to add color to the bushes on either side of the house…
27.

And then use the same green shade to add another curved shape to the right of the roof.
28.

Add a large shape to the branches of the tree to create leaves…
29.

And then use a red pen for the inside edge of the roof.
30.

Now, use a brown pen to add color to the right of the house and to the left of the chimney.
31.

Switch to a light orange pen, and add color to the other side of the house and to the other side of the chimney…
32.

Before using a gray pen for the arch inside the door.
And voila! You have your very own super cute country cottage, just waiting for a story to be told…
