Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Start by grabbing a black pen, and drawing a three-sided shape, like the top of a rectangle, at the top of your page.
Add a long, thin rectangle shape to the bottom of this shape…
And then follow this up with a smaller rectangle below.
Use a series of short, vertical lines to add stripes to the top section…
And then bring out two short, horizontal lines from the bottom of the second rectangle. At the end of these, angle the lines down slightly.
Now, bring two short lines in from the bottom of the angled lines, this time angling them inwards.
Now, bring two vertical lines down from the corners, once again, angling these slightly.
Then, bring two more vertical lines down towards the bottom of the page.
Add two short diagonal lines to the ends, angling inwards, and then connect the two sides with a short horizontal line.
Now, add a small oval shape to the bottom.
Write “100%” inside this small oval…
And then add a large “splodge” just above this, with smaller marks all around the edge.
Bring two diagonal lines in from the bottom corners…
And then add two triangle shapes to the top corners.
Add another two diagonal lines, this time coming in from the top corners…
And connect the shorter lines at the top with a horizontal line.
Add two short, horizontal lines just below this…
And curve the edges to create an oval shape.
Now, add a large sideways “figure-8” shape below this, and add two circles inside, with small chips taken out of the top and bottom of each.
Add two lines above for brows…
And then a large cheesy smile below this.
Now, add a curved “m” shape inside the mouth.
Use the black pen to fill in the space above this, creating the inside of the mouth and the tongue…
And then bring a curved line diagonally across from below the mouth, up beneath the eyes, and meeting the right-hand line.
Grab an orange pen, and add color to the top of the bottom “splodge”, the top oval shape, and the cap at the very top.
Then use an orange highlighter pen to add color to the space above the curved line.
Take a red pen and add color to the right of the tube, leaving a white patch above the mouth, and the left half-inch.
Use a pale orange pen for the small section on the left, and the next third of the “splodge”…
And then use the orange highlighter pen for the bottom third, and the oval at the bottom.
Grab the red pen, and fill in the rest of the white patches on the body.
Finally, grab a pink pen, and use this to add color to the tongue.
And just like that, you have brought your drawing to life – now all you need to do is use your imagination to decide where it fits into your scene or story…
