Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Start by taking a black fineliner pen, and drawing two angled lines in the right half of your page. Connect these with a bumpy line.
Add curved lines to each of the original lines to create cute llama ears.
Bring a bumpy line down from the bottom of the right ear…
And then repeat this on the left.
Now, continue the right line down slightly, before curving it across to the left, and heading down towards the bottom of the page.
At the bottom, add a short horizontal line, and then bring the line back up, parallel with the one on the right to create a leg. Add another bumpy line extending off to the left.
Now, add another leg just in front of the first.
Add another curved line to the back of the drawing…
And add another leg to the bottom of this. On the right, curved the line up towards the top of the page.
Add a small “bump”, and then bring a bumpy line across to the right, to meet the bottom of the neck.
Add another leg just in front of the one at the back…
And then add small hooves to the bottom of each leg.
Fill these in with the black pen…
And then add a large curve across the back of your llama.
Use the black pen to draw a series of three-pronged shapes all along the length of this.
Now, add more curved lines inside the first, and short marks inside each of the ears…
And add a large curved shape with a pointed top to the face.
Add two small curves for eyes, above an oval nose, and curved lines for a nose and mouth.
Add a curved line to the bottom of the neck, with short lines across the bottom of this.
Now, use a pale orange pencil to fill in the front leg in each pair, as well as the face.
Grab a yellow pen, and add small “prongs” to the bottom of the lines on the neck.
Follow this up with more examples in red…
And finally, go in with a darker green.
Now, use a red pen to fill in the top section of the rug on the back. Leave a line, and then fill in the section below this with the same shade.
Fill in the gap between the red sections with a yellow pen…
And then grab the red pen for the bottom section.
Add a dark green to the section above this…
And then use the pale orange pencil to add small dots to the middle section on the rug.
Use the orange pen to complete the rug on the back…
And then add a small gray circle around the nose and mouth to complete your look, with your gray pencil.
Now, isn’t that the cutesy llama you have ever seen? Remember, there is plenty to learn about these creatures, so take the time to get researching!
