Mushrooms get a bad reputation, but they can actually be super cute! Still don’t believe us? Then let’s bring our own to life in just a few short, simple steps!
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Start with a black pen, and draw a curved shape in the center of your page.
Add two small circles at the top…
And add a curved shape to the right of each of these.
Now, add a long oval shape beneath each eye, and add a curved shape in the center.
Add a curve to the bottom, and then add a bumpy line below this.
Bring a curve across to the left, up at an angle, and then across. Add a “bump”, then bring the line down and add a smaller “bump”, and connect this to the right of the original shape.
Add a curved line across the center of this…
Add two half circles above this line, and then a circle at the top.
Now, add a series of long, thin “loops” emerging from the original shape.
Add two loops for arms at the sides, and then two more at the bottom for the feet.
Add a small star to the bottom left, and a small shape with three “prongs” below this.
Add a leaf to the bottom right…
Now, add a frond shape above this…
And add a leaf outline around this.
Add a small circle above the leaf, and then a small star above this.
Use a red pen to shade the top of the mushroom.
Use a brown pen for the left eye, and the inside of the leaves.
Use a yellow pen for the left star, those on the top right, and the bottom left.
Use a brown pencil for the larger leaf.
And then use a brown pen for the right eye and the curved mouth.
Use a red pen for the lines on the cheeks.
Use a light brown pencil for the bottom of the mushroom and the central stripe.
Use a darker brown pencil for the shape in the bottom left…
And then use a gray pencil for the rest of the body.
And voila – a super cute mushroom just living his best life; what could be better than that?
