1.

Use a black pen to add a circle to the center of your page, and add a small “bump” to the right of this.
2.

Bring two curved, parallel lines up to the right, and add three long bumps to the top of this for a hand and long fingers.
3.

Extend the lines downwards towards the bottom of the page, and add two small bumps to the bottom.
4.

From the top, bring a curved line across to the left, and then “hook” this down across the end.
5.

Add a large curve to the bottom of this, connecting the line to the left of the original shape.
6.

Add a curve to the top, sending this across to the left and up, and then add a small oval shape just below this.
7.

Add a curved line from the side of this, heading down to the bottom left-hand corner of the page.
8.

At the bottom of this, add a series of small “bumps”.
9.

Now, add a triangle-style shape at the top of the “bumps”, with a curved top, straight side, and jagged line back in.
10.

At the bottom of this, bring a line down to the bottom of the page.
11.

Bring a line down from the left of the face, curving this towards the bottom of the page.
12.

Then, at the end of the line, bring a line across, up and in for a thumb, and a longer shape above this for the hand. Add a horizontal line to add detail for the hand.
13.

Add a curved, jagged line to the top of the right hand, and curve this across to the left.
14.

Continue this across to the left and down to the top of the left arm.
15.

Add two circles to the center of the face for the eyes…
16.

Now, add two small triangles above the circles for eyebrows.
17.

Now, bring a curved line down from the bottom of the face…
18.

And curve this down, and back across to the right.
19.

Add an angled “n” shape below this, and use a straight line to connect this to the right arm.
20.

Add a point to the left of this, and add a curved line down to the bottom left-hand corner of the page.
21.

Add a wavy foot to the end of this leg…
22.

And then add another “n” shape to the left of the foot.
23.

Add an angled line to the left of this, and then connect it to the right leg with a curved horizontal line.
24.

Now, add another wavy foot to the bottom of this.
25.

Add another layer to the bottom of the right elbow…
26.

And another line from the face to the left shoulder.
27.

Switch to a black fineliner pen, and add a wide “u” shape to the space at the top of the circle.
28.

Next, add a half-circle shape to the bottom of this…
29.

And add a small triangle to the middle of this.
30.

Now, add two small circles inside the main circles at the top.
31.

Add smaller circles inside these ones…
32.

And then fill in the inner circle, the inner triangle, and the brows with the black pen.
33.

Grab an orange pen, and add color to the bottom of the elbows, the legs, the face, and the legs.
34.

Shade in the remaining sections with a darker brown pen to complete your drawing.
And voila – your very own super cute orangutan ready for his next adventure – why not take a little time to learn about these creatures, and see how you can help them?
