1.

Start by using a black pen to draw a large “n” shape in the left half of your page.

At the bottom of this, add a horizontal line, curving this downwards at either end.

Bring a line in to the left, and a longer one in to the right, and then add a curved line to the bottom.

Draw two curved lines in the top section…

And then two angled marks above this for brows.

Add two small “almond” shapes to the bottom section…

Next, add another line just above the bottom one, creating three “bumps”. At the top of the central “bump”, add another slightly curved line.

Now, add a curved line across the bottom, and follow this with another line above the first – this is the mouth of your ox!

Bring two curved lines out from the top, extending out in either direction.

Add another line above this to join with a point and create two horns.

Then, add two points, one on either side, below this for ears.

Draw a wavy line across to the right, angling down towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

At the end of this line, draw the line down to the bottom, and flick it out to the right. Then, add another line to the left of this.

Add another line below the “flick” to create a tail, and then bring a line down to the bottom of the page.

Then, add an angled line to the bottom of the inside line…

And join these at the bottom with a short horizontal line. Then, add a hoof to the bottom of this, with a short vertical mark in the center.

And join these with slightly jagged lines to create a fluffy, waggy tail.
