Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Start with a black pen, and draw a curved line at the top of your page, with two small circles above this.
2.
Bring a curved line up from the left of the curved line, and take this up, across, and then down towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page. Add a curve at the bottom, and take the line up, across, and down to the bottom right of the original curve. Next, bring down another long, curved shape down on the left.

Add a “loop” to the bottom of the right shape, and then take a line down from the bottom of this, and curve it to the left.

Bring a curved line down from the bottom left shape, and curve this towards the right…

Next add a “horseshoe” shape in the center of these lines, with a “loop” at the left end.

Add a long “u” shape to the bottom of this, angled slightly.
7.
Bring a curved line down from the bottom of this. Then, bring a line across from the bottom right of the “horseshoe”, taking this left to a pointed wing, and then down towards the bottom of the page.

Add three small ovals to the bottom of the line, and then add a curved line, and add another three small ovals for the toes. Do you see a smaller bird starting to form?

Next, add six more small toes to the bottom of the larger creature…
10.
Add a “teardrop” shape to the bottom of the curve at the top of the larger bird.
11.
Use a black pen to shade the top of the head and the wings, as well as the toes of the big bird, and the head and beak of the smaller one.
12.
Use a gray pen for the eyes of the larger bird, and the body of the smaller one.
13.
Shade the beak of the larger bird with an orange pen, and use the same shade for the toes of the smaller bird.
14.
Now, write your message in a bold, blue pen: “Best Dad is my Dad”.
And there we have it – the perfect gift for Father’s Day!
