As any fairy tale fan will know, the queen is one of the most important characters, and often has the final say over the kingdom. If you are looking to add a royal touch to your everyday life, you need to learn how to draw your very own super cute queen – and we can help! Let’s get started.
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Start by taking a black pen, and drawing three small circles, arranged in a “triangle” shape, at the top of your page.
Add another small circle to either end…
Connect the circles together with a series of straight lines to create the top of the crown.
Add two lines down from the end circles, and connect these at the bottom with a curved line to create the crown for your queen.
Add another long, thin section to the bottom of the crown.
Now, add a wide jagged line underneath the crown…
And add a “hook” shape to the bottom, creating loops on either side.
Connect the two “hooks” together with a curved line, and add a “bump” at the bottom.
Next, add two curves to the top of the face, and a wider one to the bottom for the eyebrows and mouth.
Now, add two circles below the brows for eyes…
And add smaller circles to the left side of the eyes.
Now, bring two curved lines across from the bottom of the crown. Bring the left line down and angled to the right, and the right line down past the ear, continuing down to flick out at the bottom. Then, bring it back in with a slightly jagged line.
Add a small circle just below the chin…
And then add shapes to either side to create a bow.
Bring two “almond” shapes out from the ends of the bow.
Add a short, slightly angled line to the corner of the left bow, and then add a wavy line below this.
Join the lines at the left with a slightly diagonal line, and then add a hand to the end.
Bring two parallel lines down from the bottom of the right “almond” shape…
And add a hand with three small fingers to the bottom of this.
Now, bring down two vertical lines from the bottom of the bow, and connect these with two diagonal lines heading down to a point.
Add a series of small circles to the space between the ends of the bow, creating the chain of the necklace.
Now, add a small teardrop shape to the bottom of the chain…
And then bring down two diagonal lines from the bottom of the bodice.
Connect the ends of these lines to the center with a curved line, and then add another line just below this.
Next, add two more similar shapes to the bottom…
And bring down two curved, vertical lines from the center.
Join the bottom of this with a curved line, and then add two similar shapes, one on either side, to create the skirt.
Add another shape to either end to make the skirt a little more full…
And then add two parallel, vertical lines to the left hand with a ruler. Join these at the bottom.
Add a small circle to the top of the lines, and another circle around half an inch above this.
Now, add a diamond shape in between the circles to create the gem in the queen’s scepter.
Add a circle in the middle of this diamond shape…
And then use the black pen to fill in the outside ring of the eyes.
Grab a pink pen, and add color to alternate folds of the dress, the bow, the necklace, the outside of the gem, and the tips of the crown.
Use a yellow pen to add color to the circles on the top and bottom of the gem, as well as the crown itself.
Next, add color to the hair with a brown pen…
And then use an orange pen for the main handle of the scepter.
Take a pink pencil and gently shade the rest of the dress, as well as the circle on the scepter.
Add a sheen to the chain of the necklace with a yellow pen to complete your look.
And just like that, you have a wonderful queen, just waiting to rule her kingdom – but who will she rule alongside?
