Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a black pen, and writing “SCHOOL BUS” beneath a curved line in the left half of your page.
2.

Add to the curved line at the top until the writing is fully enclosed in a rectangle.
3.

Add another rectangle outside the first…
4.

And then add two “rings” – one at either end of the sign.
5.

Now, bring a curved line out from the left of the sign, and curve this around and down. Then, add a horizontal line to the right side, and curve the end of this around and down, flicking it slightly, and then back out to the right at the bottom to create a “wedge”.
6.

Add a curved line to the “wedge”, just inside the other lines.
7.

Now, add a wide, square “n” shape just below the sign, and add a second line inside the left one.
8.

Draw a curved line across the bottom of this, and then bring a curve down from the right, and draw this across and up, before curving back down.
9.

Next, add a large, horizontal “crescent moon” shape below this, with two small marks at the tops for a wide smile.
10.

Add a small semicircle to the bottom of this, and then another curved line below the bottom.
11.

Now, return to the line on the right, and add another curved line to the bottom. Add a large circle just to the left of this.
12.

Add a curved line to the top of this circle, and then another, smaller circle inside the first. Add a small dot inside this.
13.

Now, add a larger circle around the entire eye…
14.

And repeat the inner shape on the left.
15.

This time, add a “crescent moon” shape to the right-hand side of the eye.
16.

Bring a curved line up from the top of this to connect to the middle line, and a curved line down from the bottom, heading across horizontally to meet the curve in the center. Then, bring a line across to meet the bottom right corner.
17.

Add another line to the bottom to create a “bumper”, and connect this to the shape above with short, vertical lines.
18.

Add a large “n” shape to the right of this, and then add a long, thin rectangle.
19.

Add another “n” shape to the end of the rectangle, and then repeat the shape at the end. Bring a line up from the top right-hand corner of this to meet the shape above.
20.

Now, add a black stripe across the middle of the back…
21.

And then another just below this.
22.

Now, add a large “ring” beneath the front “n” shape…
23.

And then add two curved lines just below this to create the front wheel.
24.

Repeat this in the second “n” shape to create another wheel…
25.

And then add a series of curved lines to the bottom left, creating a second front wheel.
26.

Now, add another horizontal line to the top, ending in a small, black circle.
27.

Add two large squares to the center of the bus, with a small rectangle at the back.
28.

Now, add another line inside the two squares…
29.

And then being a vertical line down from the front square, to the bottom of the bus to create the door. Add a small oval just in front.
30.

Add a vertical, curved line to the front of the bus…
31.

And a curved line just below the top of the mouth.
32.

Now, fill in the space in the center of the mouth, between these two shapes, with the black pen.
33.

Grab a red pen, and fill in the tongue at the bottom, and the central sections of the rings on the cheeks and at the top of the bus.
34.

Grab an orange pen, and add color to the tops of the eyes…
35.

Before using a gray pen for the outside of the sign at the top.
36.

Now, use a yellow pencil for the main body of the bus…
37.

And an orange pencil for the inside of the windows and inside of the windshield.
38.

Use a gray pen for the outside of the wheels…
39.

Grab a cyan pen, and add another layer to the inside of the windshield and windows…
40.

And then draw diagonal stripes across the windows and windshield. Fill in the areas around these with the cyan pen.
41.

Use a gray pencil to add an outline to the bottom section of the bus…
42.

And then use an orange pencil for the top of the wheel arch.
And there we have it – a super cute, friendly school bus, just waiting to learn everything there is to discover!
