There is no denying it: swans are super cute, and have an uncanny ability to dominate any waterway that they decide to visit! Want to enjoy a super cute swan of your own? Then follow our simple steps!

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Start with a black pen, and draw a “hook” just to the left or center of your page. Flick the bottom of the hook off towards the right slightly.

At the end of this line, bring the loop up and across to the right, and then add a series of long, thin “loops”, heading down the page, to create the back feathers.

At the bottom, bring the curved line across to the left…

And then add another line of feathers, slightly smaller this time, just inside the back ones.

Add another curved wing to the top, and add three long feathers to this…

And then add three more feathers to the bottom. Bring the line of this across to the left, and loop it up to run parallel with the one on the right.

At the top, add a “forked” shape and make this a little thicker. Then, add a long, thin beak, and add a curved line to the middle of this, with a small black dot at the top.

Draw an eye just behind the beak, and add a curved line to the bottom, and another to the side. Add black detail to the center of the eye.
9.
Next, use the black pen to draw a large, wavy line all around the bottom of the swan, creating a puddle.
10.
Grab an orange pen, and use this to add color to the beak…

And then use a cyan pen for the eyes.

Now use a blue pen to add wavy shapes all across the puddle…

And then fill in the space around these with the blue pen.
14.
Add color to some of these shapes with a darker blue pen.
15.
Then, use a gray pen for the back and bottom of the swan’s body, and for the outline of the neck and face.
And there we have it: official property of the Crown, stunning water dweller, and all-around cool bird – our very own super cute swan!
