Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw a “u” shape, angled at around 45 degrees towards the top left-hand corner, in the right of your page. Bring the top right of this across to the left, and curve it down and then towards the right.
2.

Add a curved line to the end of the left side of the “u”, following the line above.
3.

At the end of this line, add two wavy parallel lines, connected at the end with a short mark.
4.

Bring a wavy line down from the bottom of this, and then add a parallel wavy line to the left. Add a curved shape to the back of this.
5.

At the end of the two wavy lines, add a short curve to connect the two, and then add two short lines, joined at the bottom with two “bumps”.
6.

Add a short square shape to the end of the horizontal wavy lines…
7.

And then repeat these wavy lines on the other side, pointed up towards the top left-hand corner.
8.

Now, add another leg to the bottom left, with two parallel curved lines, and then two straighter lines pointing towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page.
9.

Add a bumpy shape to the end of the other legs…
10.

And then add two short sets of parallel lines, topped with circles, to the top of the head for those distinctive giraffe horns.
11.

Add two small circles to the face, and then add curved brows above these.
12.

Add a small triangle to the right of the face…
13.

And follow this with a small “u” shape to the left to create the ears.
14.

Next, add a wavy line to the back of the neck for the mane…
15.

And then cover the body with patterns, circles, and shapes.
16.

Add musical notes and movement signs all around your giraffe.
17.

Add two small marks to the bottom of the nose, and a curved line for a smile.
18.

Use a brown pen to add color to the hooves and the mane, as well as the eyes and the top of the horn.
19.

Now, use a bright orange pen to add color to the patterns on the giraffe…
20.

And shade the notes around the creature with a pink pen.
21.

Then, use a yellow pen for the rest of the body.
22.

Finally, grab a slightly lighter yellow pen, and shade the tummy.
And voila – your very own super cute giraffe, loving his life with his favorite music. Seems like a great way to pass the time!
