Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a black pen, and drawing a curved shape in the left half of your page – this should have a slight “indent” on the left.
2.

Continue the line at the top to the left, ending this with a little “hook”.
3.

Then, add another “hook” below the first for the nose of your dog. Bring the line in to the right, and then back out to the left for the mouth and bottom jaw. Then, bring the line across towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
4.

Add a small curved line to the nose…
5.

And then add a collar to the end of the neck with two angled lines, connected at the ends with a curve at either end.
6.

Add a small “crescent moon” shape just below the top of the head for an eye.
7.

Now, bring a curved line across towards the right, and back down towards the bottom of the page.
8.

Return to the bottom of the collar, and bring a line down towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page. Add a “loop” for the leg, and bring the bottom line in and up.
9.

Add another “loop” to the front, just below the leg you have already drawn…
10.

And then bring a line across the bottom for the tummy.
11.

Then, add another leg to the back, in the gap…
12.

Before adding another leg in front of the first.
13.

Now, add two curved lines to the top of the back, joining in a point to create a tail.
14.

Now, add small marks to the bottom of the paws to create cute toes…
15.

And add a few small marks emerging from the mouth.
16.

Use the black pen to fill in the nose…
17.

Use an orange pen for the collar…
18.

And then use a brown pencil for the main body of the dog.
And just like that, you have brought your cheeky, naughty dog to life – now, what could he be barking at?
