Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a thin black pen, and drawing a square shape in the right of your page. Add a wavy line emerging from the top right corner of this.
2.

Add a curved point to the right of the square, on top of the line.
3.

And then bring a curved line across to the left to form the jaw of the dog.
4.

Bring another line down vertically from the bottom of the jaw, curving across to the left of the page.
5.

Now, bring two curved, parallel lines across and up, ending in a square at the left end.
6.

Connect the end of this to the back of the ears…
7.

And then add a small almond shape to the top of the head, creating an eye.
8.

Draw a small dot in the center of this, and fill in the surrounding space with the black pen.
9.

Add a small curved line to the right, creating the nose…
10.

And then draw a curved line from the bottom of the eye, across to the right, just below the nose.
11.

Now, return to the line of the jaw, and bring this down to meet the top of the collar, creating a strong 90-degree angle.
12.

Bring a curved line across to the right, and then curve this down towards the bottom of the page…
13.

Before continuing the line at the front across to the left, flicking up and then back down slightly.
14.

Bring two parallel lines down towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page.
15.

Then, add another line to the right of this, and add a curved paw to the bottom.
16.

Repeat the paw shape on the back leg…
17.

And then add another leg and paw to the front of your dog.
18.

Add a fourth and final leg just in front of the first.
19.

Next, add a short, curved tail to the back of your pooch.
20.

Add small, curved marks to each of the feet to create small toes.
21.

Now, add a series of small dots all along the width of the collar.
22.

Take the black pen and a ruler, and add two parallel, diagonal lines to the top left corner of the page.
23.

Join these at the top with a straight line, and then a curve at the bottom.
24.

At the bottom of the curve, add a small hand with four fingers.
25.

Bring two lines down from the fingers, and join these at the bottom with a horizontal line.
26.

Now, use the ruler to draw two diagonal, parallel lines connecting the hand to the collar of the dog.
27.

Add a curved line to the dog’s belly.
28.

Add color to the top of the nose with the black pen.
29.

Next, grab a brown pen, and use this to add color to the face, ears, collar, and leash.
30.

Use a light orange pencil to fill in the hand and arm…
31.

And then a dark brown pencil to gently shade the body of the dog.
And voila – your very own leash, perfect for keeping your pet safe and healthy while on a walk.
