Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a black pen, and drawing a large curve in the center of your page.
2.

Add two large, wavy “n” shapes to either end of this to create ears for your pooch.
3.

Add two smaller, wavy shapes inside each of the ears, and fill these in with the black pen.
4.

Bring two wavy lines down on either side, heading down from the ears.
5.

Add two small circles below the ears, and fill these in almost completely, leaving two small white dots.
6.

Add a short curved line in between these two eyes…
7.

And then add a wide “n” shape below the eyes, with the peak underneath the curved line.
8.

Add an oval shape underneath this, and bring a vertical line down from the center of this. Then, add another, short curved line for the mouth.
9.

Add three small dots to on either side of the short line…
10.

Below this, bring down two vertical, parallel lines, and join them at the top and bottom with curves.
11.

Add two more sets of parallel lines to the top of this, this time heading towards the top corners.
12.

Add two more lines to the bottom, and then join everything together with lines at the sides to create the outline of your book.
13.

Add a collection of three circles to the right of the book…
14.

And then add circles above this for a pawprint.
15.

Now, add two paws, one on either side of the book…
16.

And fill in the cover with a pink pencil.
17.

Use a yellow-orange pencil for the paws of the pooch, and the top of the head…
18.

Before using a brown pencil for his nose.
And voila! Your precious pet has mastered the art of reading: what could possibly go wrong?
