Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Begin your drawing by selecting a black pen, and drawing a cone shape in the left half of your page.
2.

Divide the cone in two with a vertical line up the middle…
3.

And then bring a curved line across and down towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page.
4.

At the end of this, add a square “c” shape to create the face and nose of your dog.
5.

Add a small, curved shape to the bottom line for a tongue…
6.

And then add another line just below this, stretching to the right, for the bottom of the jaw.
7.

Now, add a small “bump” to the front of the nose…
8.

And then draw a jagged line down from the front of the face, across to the right, and down to meet the bottom of the jaw.
9.

Draw a small almond shape above this for an eye, and fill this in almost completely, leaving a small dot at the front. Add a short mark above this for an eyebrow.
10.

Now, return to the ear at the top, and bring a curved line down towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
11.

Connect the two sides of the neck with two curved lines for a collar…
12.

And then extend the top line out to the right slightly.
13.

Now, switch to a green pen, and draw a large loop above the line you just drew. Then, bring this line down, loop it back up and across towards the top right-hand corner of the page, before ending in another loop.
14.

Grab the black pen, and continue the back line across the top of the second “loop”.
15.

And then bring a line down from just behind the collar, waving it across, down, and then off to the bottom right-hand corner.
16.

Curve this down and up to create a leg and paw, and then repeat this shape on the left.
17.

Add two small marks to the end of the paws for toes.
18.

Now, continue the line across from the right leg, and angle this up slightly.
19.

Continue the top line down to a short diagonal, and then curve it across and up to meet the bottom line.
20.

Add another foot to the back…
21.

And repeat this with another foot above.
22.

Now, add a small “bump” to the top of the back.
23.

Draw a curved line above the collar, on the neck.
24.

Now, add another ear to the front of the head, just in front of the first one.
25.

Switch to a black fineliner pen, and add thin, pointed shapes inside each of the ears.
26.

Next, use the black pen to fill in the tip of the nose…
27.

And a pink pen for the tongue and the inside of the ears.
28.

Grab a light orange pen, and shade the main body of your dog.
29.

Use the green pen to fill in the collar.
And there we have it – your very own dog, living their very best doggy life! What could be better than that?
