Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a black pen, and drawing a cone shape in the center of your page – this will be the horn of your unicorn creature.
2.

Add a series of short, diagonal lines across the width of the horn…
3.

And then add a large, circular shape below the horn.
4.

Next, add two curved lines in the center of your circle, descending down from the top.
5.

Add two small circles, one in either section of the face, for eyes…
6.

And then add a large curved shape below for a nose.
7.

Just below this, add a wavy line, like a wide, square “u” shape, and then another “u” shape beneath this for a mouth.
8.

Add another layer to the top line, and then add a short vertical line to the tongue.
9.

Next, add a large feathery shape to the left of the face -this needs four “bumps” with a curve at the right end.
10.

Connect this to the face with two curved lines, one at the top and one at the bottom…
11.

And then add another set of “bumps” below this.
12.

At the bottom of these “bumps”, curve the line across to the right, and then back up.
13.

Now, add a wavy line to the right of this, emerging from below the face, adding three short “waves”, and then curving down to the bottom of the page.
14.

Add a short curved line to the left of this…
15.

And then connect these two lines with “bumps” to create toes.
16.

Add a horizontal curved line just above the toes.
17.

Now, add another foot, complete with toes, underneath the back leg.
18.

Then, draw a curve to connect the two feet, and then continue up towards the right side of the face.
19.

Add another foot to the bottom of this front curve, and then add short marks just above the toes on each foot.
20.

Next, add two ears by drawing large, angled “U” shapes on either side of the horns.
21.

Repeat these lines inside, creating “hoops”…
22.

And then add a tall, pointed shape inside these hoops.
23.

Now, draw a series of small stars all around the horn.
24.

Time for some color! Use a purple pen to fill in the bottom stripe of the horn, and follow this with an orange pen. Use a yellow pen for the next stripe, and the stars around the horn, and then a green pen and blue pen for the final stripes.
25.

Now, use a light purple pencil to add color to the inner ears…
26.

And a light orange pencil for the outside ears, the outside of the face, and the main body.
27.

Use a black pen to fill in the eyes and nose…
28.

And a light teal pencil for the wings at the back.
29.

Finally, use a light red pencil for the tongue.
And there we have it – your very own fantasy creature, just waiting for any adventure that you have in store! Where will your imagination take you?
