Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Grab a ruler and pencil, and draw a large rectangle at the bottom of your page.
2.
Add another rectangle to the top of this, and draw three horizontal lines across the center. Then, add two slightly angled lines to the top, and join these at the top for a roof.

Add two vertical lines to the right side of the main section of the building, taking these all the way down to the bottom.

Add two lines to the top left section…

And then add a series of rectangles to the bottom of the shape on the right, increasing the length of these as they descend to create steps.

Add lines inside the vertical lines above the steps.

Now, add two horizontal lines to the bottom of the top sections, and join these with curved lines at the end.

Add two curved lines above this, and then two curved lines below the central line.

Add a criss-cross pattern to the top window with double lines.

Now, add three squares to the top of the bottom section, and add a small circle to the bottom of this for a door knob.

Now, add a series of stripes to the left window, and add a curved line across the top of this.

Draw two horizontal stripes below the window…

And then add three stripes to either side of this shape.

Add another curved line above the one you have just drawn.

Grab a drawing compass, and add two small rings to the bottom of this window.

Add two cross shapes inside the circles…

And then add a wavy line along the bottom of the building.
18.
Now, draw three small rectangles below this wavy line on the left, and another to the right of the door.

Draw a half circle shape in the center of the top, adding another shape outside this.

Now, add three lines arching outwards inside this top window.

Grab a black fineliner…

And go over the outlines of your house.

Use an eraser to remove any remaining pencil marks.

Use a thin gray pen and ruler to add a series of rectangles along the blank rectangle on the left.

Now, add a bumpy lines across the width of the roof.
26.
Use a light pink pen to shade the main body of the house, leaving arches and details white.
27.
Use a darker pink for the roof and the main stripe across the house, as well as the doors and left window.
28.
Grab a blue pen, and shade the glass of the remaining windows.
29.
Now, use a darker blue pen for the bottom section of the house, and alternate steps. Use a light blue pen for the remaining steps.
30.
Now, use a yellow pen to shade the frames of the windows, and the balcony on the right.
31.
Finally, use a purple pencil to shade the glass on the left window, and the archway and handle of the door.
