Smart, sassy, and adorable, dolphins are typically one of the main must-sees at many marine attractions. From balancing balls to jumping out of the water, there is plenty to see – and we will bring the sight to life in just a few simple steps.

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Use a black pen to draw a long, curved line-up and hooking over at the top.
2.
Add a curved triangle to the right-hand side, just below the hook at the top.
3.
Repeat this shape halfway up the curved line, and connect this to the top triangle with a curved line.
4.
Skip the lower triangle, and continue the curved line down below this, joining the bottom of the original line with a slight point.
5.
Next, add another curved triangle just above the second one, emerging from the second curved line.
6.
Return to the hook at the top, and bring a line-up and across, then down to run parallel with the one beside it.
7.
Now, add a fish tail to the bottom of the shape…

And add another fin to the back of the dolphin.
9.
Switch to a black liner or thinner black pen, and add a small upside-down teardrop shape to the head, giving your dolphin a tiny eye.
10.
Add a series of small, sharp triangles to the bottom of the top triangle to create some teeth…

And another small, sharp triangle inside the larger one.
12.
Use a gray crayon or pencil to fill in the fins of your dolphin.
13.
Use a black pen to add two small marks to the left-hand tail.
14.
Grab a light gray crayon or pencil, and draw a long, thin “teardrop” shape inside the body, and fill in the rest of the body with the gray.
15.
Use the gray pencil to fill in the belly and front of the dolphin…
16.
And use a red pen to fill in the inside of the mouth.
17.
Next, add a gray pencil to add color to the top of the mouth.
18.
Grab a cyan pencil, and draw a wavy line across the bottom of your page.
19.
Next, fill in the space beneath this line to create water for your dolphin to leap from. Add a few splashes and droplets of water emerging from the surface.
